Connect RECON to your AI assistant

RECON is Bazooka Vault's AI bridge. Point ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client at the server URL below, sign in with your Bazooka Vault account, and your assistant can query your collection, check market data, and manage your vault on your behalf.

Why connect externally?

The in-app RECON chat already does everything — so why bother? The external layer unlocks a few things the in-app chat can't:

Combine with other tools. In ChatGPT or Claude, RECON works alongside web search, file uploads, and other connectors — ask it to cross-reference your collection with live eBay trends or a pasted spreadsheet.
Persistent history. Your RECON conversations stay in your AI client across sessions, so you can pick up where you left off without starting over.
Scripting & automation. In Cursor and other dev tools, you can script bulk operations against your vault or build custom workflows.
Stay in your workflow. If you live in ChatGPT or Claude all day, talk to RECON without switching apps.

Set up in Claude

1Open Claude and go to your profile menu (top-right).
2Navigate to Settings → Connectors → "Add custom connector".
3Name it (e.g. "Bazooka Vault RECON") and paste the server URL below.
4Click Add. Claude will open a sign-in page — approve access with your Bazooka Vault account.

Why sign in?

RECON uses your Bazooka Vault permissions — the assistant only sees and can act on the data you're allowed to access. Approving the connection opens a secure consent page where you sign in with your account and review exactly what's being granted.

Heads up: AI assistants cache the tool list. If we add new capabilities to RECON, refresh or reconnect the connector in your client so it picks up the latest tools.
